The steps, by hand

Sign in to claude.ai on a paid plan (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise).

Open the directory portal. Click Submit new, then MCP connector.

Enter your HTTPS server URL. It reads your tools.

Give every tool a title and a read-only or destructive hint.

Fill in the name (100 characters max), a one-liner (200), a description (2,000), categories, docs URL, privacy URL, support contact and icon.

Add a test account for the reviewer and accept the policies.

Submit. An automatic scan runs. It lists as a Community connector first.
What you need
- A remote server on public HTTPS (local servers are not accepted)
- A paid Claude plan (Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise)
- A title and a readOnlyHint or destructiveHint on every tool
- OAuth 2.0 if the server needs sign-in
- Docs URL, privacy URL, support contact and icon
- A test account for the reviewer
